ABOUT ME

As a highly skilled and passionate sound designer with seven years of experience in audio engineering, I am ready to take my career to the next level. With a Bachelor of Science in Audio Production from The Art Institute of Houston, I have participated in recording and mixing singles for local talents in Houston, contracted for several audiovisual companies in field audio, and served as an Assistant Audio Engineer at Wire Road Studios, where I assisted with ADR projects for companies such as Blue Bell Ice Cream, Microsoft, and Fear The Walking Dead.

My early career began in live sound where I led teams to create successful productions. In February 2017, I volunteered as an assistant stage manager for Super Bowl LI: Houston LIVE, where I managed a team responsible for eight stages sponsored by top corporate energy businesses. I have also worked on other productions such as Diaz Music Jazz Concert of 2017, PROTHAM 2017, OTEC 2018, and Lady Gaga's Chromatic Ball Tour of 2019.

Currently, I am an Audio Specialist and Media Production at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, where I am recognized for my strong troubleshooting skills and ability to consistently deliver high-quality sound. I am actively involved in supporting live streaming and broadcast services, ensuring clear audio mix for the live audience and a full sound for streaming audiences. I also capture and edit audio products for media bumpers, advertisements, announcements, and other outlets, as well as record and edit videos for church operations and functions.

In addition to my professional experience, I have dedicated myself to learning Unreal Engine and Wwise, two industry-standard software platforms used in video game development. Through online courses, personal projects, and collaborations with other sound designers, I have developed a strong understanding of the tools and techniques necessary to create immersive and dynamic audio experiences in virtual environments. I am excited to bring these skills to new projects and continue to expand my knowledge in the field of sound design.

SUPER BOWL LI: HOUSTON LIVE EVENT WEEK

Volunteering as an Assistant Stage Manager, I managed eight different stages for Super Bowl LI: Houston LIVE Event. My duties were to run live sound, and execute each talent within a tight schedule. Here is one of the talents, Reesa, after performing towards the end of the event in the Noble Energy tent.
